x402 fleet — release notes

— Bazaar visibility fix: extensions added to all 402 responses

Root cause of the fleet's invisibility on x402 Bazaar: manual 402 handlers bypassed the payment middleware, so responses were missing the extensions field the CDP preflight checks for. Patched 44/44 servers (34 Contabo + 10 InferenceHub), node --check 44/44, zero failed restarts. CDP /x402/validate passes 24/24; live settlement test $0.001 passed.

— Store + SEO pages: internal tailnet URLs replaced with public URLs

Funnel audit found /tools/store/ and llms.txt listing dead tailnet (*.ts.net) URLs a public buyer couldn't reach. All store pages, fleet llms.txt, 29 SEO pages and 12 stray live pages switched to api.mekongtradeintel.com. Verified 6/6 pages 200, endpoints answer 402/200 correctly over the real internet.

— MCP HTTP wrapper: 3 fleet bugs fixed (method, route, schema)

While wiring the MCP HTTP wrapper we found and fixed: (1) 10 endpoints whose catalog claimed GET but backend only accepts POST; (2) a shadow route making /news return 402 on GET; (3) tokenprice schema mismatching the real body fields. Verified: POST /weather and /academic → 200; GET /news?topic=bitcoin → 200 with 20 headlines.

— MCP HTTP wrapper live: 38 tools over one endpoint

https://api.mekongtradeintel.com/mcp is live: initialize + tools/list (38 tools) pass. The wrapper calls fleet backends with an internal key that bypasses the x402 paywall for the FiatDock payment rail — no double-charge; paid listing x402 Web Search at $0.01/call submitted (status: pending).

— /stt launch: speech-to-text endpoint ($0.05/call)

New endpoint: POST /stt/api/stt, faster-whisper small int8 on CPU, $0.05/call, 2 free trials/day, 7-day SQLite cache. Live at https://api.mekongtradeintel.com/stt. Real $0.05 settlement test passed on-chain.

— Trial pool live: 6 funded wallets, $0.50 each

Self-settlement mechanism live: an agent wallet signs, a facilitator covers gas. 6/10 wallets funded at $0.50 USDC each ($3.00 spent); 3 wallets publish trial credits publicly, 3 held in reserve, 4 unfunded. Trial-pool state is tracked for real conversion; kill condition: 0 conversions in 30 days.

— Trailing-slash fix across the fleet

Manual 402 handlers previously 404'd on trailing-slash URLs (e.g. /websearch/ vs /websearch). Fixed across fleet (backups .bak-trailingslash-20261020) so buyers and crawlers hit the same payment flow either way.

— Buyer telemetry + adopt-an-endpoint

Buyer telemetry went live on the fleet: per-call logs (payer, IP, endpoint, latency, outcome) feed the public buyer leaderboard. Adopt-an-endpoint launched at /tools/adopt: sponsors can reserve an endpoint and get branded visibility on its tool page.

⇪ Append process (for future builds)

  1. Prepend the new entry at the top of the list (newest first). Do not append at the bottom.
  2. Date format: DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM in the visible label, ISO datetime attribute (Asia/Saigon local).
  3. One entry per shipped change: what changed, who it affects, one verifiable number or link. No marketing copy.
  4. Never edit or reorder old entries — they are the audit trail. Fix mistakes with a new entry.
  5. After editing, curl -sI https://api.mekongtradeintel.com/tools/releases must return 200 and the new entry must appear in the HTML.
