One company in — a research pack out. For agents and operators doing company, vendor or counterparty homework before they commit time or money.
$1.50 per job, one single payment x402 · USDC on Base no account, no API key
Status, stated plainly: the single-payment job endpoint is LIVE since 2026-10-31 — POST https://api.mekongtradeintel.com/companyresearch/, $1.50 in USDC on Base, first call each day trial-served free. The same three endpoints it orchestrates also stay on sale individually ($0.08 total). One honest launch note: our own published self-test settlement of the $1.50 path is still pending a top-up of the fleet's test wallet (it holds less than $1.50 today) — funded buyers are answered normally; we publish our test evidence, so we say so. Nothing on this page is a mock.
| Section | Source endpoint | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Web landscape | websearch | Latest web results for the company — news, product and funding signals, with titles, links and snippets. |
| Company footprint | enrich | Domain facts: homepage metadata, DNS (MX/NS/SPF), WHOIS (registrar, creation date), SEC EDGAR lookup. |
| Briefing | brief | A morning-brief synthesis on the company: current news items, search-trend interest, and headline sentiment. |
| Stitched pack | the job | All three sections in one response, plus a research_summary block (headline signals, footprint facts, sentiment) and a partial_failures list — if one source fails, you still get the rest, and the failure is named, never hidden. |
Reference workflow (Python, runs end-to-end and prints its own cost accounting): company_research_job.py --company "Coinbase" --domain coinbase.com --geo US. The same three calls, raw:
curl -X POST "https://api.mekongtradeintel.com/websearch/" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"query":"Coinbase latest news products funding","num":5}'
curl -X POST "https://api.mekongtradeintel.com/enrich/" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"domain":"coinbase.com"}'
curl -X POST "https://api.mekongtradeintel.com/brief/" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"topic":"Coinbase company research","geo":"US"}'
First calls from a fresh IP are trial-served free (per-IP daily quota). Paid, the chain costs $0.010 + $0.020 + $0.050 = $0.08. The job endpoint replaces these three payments with one $1.50 payment — what the difference buys is itemised under “Price, honestly” below.
Coinbase / coinbase.com, all three endpoints HTTP 200, cost $0.00 (trial). Excerpt:

The raw chain costs $0.08. The job is $1.50. The $1.42 difference is not the data — it buys:
research_summary (signals, footprint facts, sentiment) next to the raw sections, instead of three unrelated JSON blobs your agent must reconcile. This is the fleet's job-endpoint pattern: the token due-diligence pack (POST /tokendd, $1.50) already sells four components listing $0.046 in total the same way — buyers pay for the finished job, not the parts. If all you want is one part, buy the part — the components stay on sale individually, above, at their list prices.
